Hey Paul, I'm nearly 60 and have no tattoos lol but am thinking of getting one or two spiritual type tatts. Wondering if you have any ideas on something that may suit my heritage which is Scandinavian, Irish and about 5% Jamaican. Don't know if the old skin could take it ? lol.

you can take it...lol... dont go too small and detailed. scandinavian is simple with a wide choice of ideas. Ravens would be a good choice that could connect all three and can be really cool. ive done a few 60 plus year olds, my wife didnt get her first one until she was 45 and is now fully sleeved, covered from shoulder to shoulder across her upper back and is working on her legs...lol...( shes been at it for over 15 years now, plus that is the hazard of having me as a husband...lmao)... older skin can just be trickier with what is called "blowouts". which is just going too deep and ink spreading. but a decent artist will know how to ink ya just fine...lol.. location is key also. a good meaty area is preferred, shoulder, chest, back, etc... thin areas like the wrists, forearms etc.. is more questionable if the skin is thin.
