Hi Sarah and welcome. This sounds very much like an elemental of some sort. Is the home older? Near trees? Older structures of any sort? How about the land itself? Known for anything?

Thank you! its about 20 years old and was farm land prior. Nothing unusual about the property that has been found. A few trees behind the home, but only one in the yard.

It is a small mischievous devil or pixie.
