The subliminal message conspiracy has been around as long as tv. I’m sure we have audio based weapons but I don’t know if they’re using them on us. The article cited a conspiracy group for its information. Not a reputable source. However I wouldn’t put it past them to influence our purchases if possible.

Subliminal messages can also be things in shows and songs we don’t notice consciously but our subconscious mind picks up through thin slicing Thin-slicing - Wikipedia.

It’s pretty easy to slip the messages in but the general rule is if you’re fully aware of what you’re being exposed too, it’s not going to affect you on a subconscious level unless you allow it to.
