Chelyabinsk Meteor: A Wake-Up Call for Earth

The small asteroid that broke up over the city of Chelyabinsk, Russia, on Feb. 15, 2013, was a reminder about the importance of monitoring small bodies in space that could pose a threat to Earth.

Not really a collector, Lynne, but after being an amateur astronomer for over half a century, the interest has always been there and I managed to pick up perhaps a dozen specimens in that time. Traded a few for other goodies, have about six or seven at present.
