Do you folks have that in the US? It's an edible plant that grows as the title says on marshy grounds near estuaries, kinda looks and tastes a bit like baby asparagus. Very salty so wash clean and just pour boiling water over or steam and it's done but can also be eaten as is. Usually served as part of a salad.

Traditionally given away free to customers by your local fishmonger (I have one in the village).
