Oh yes, they are. Why do they try and do this? The role was so iconic, I don't see how this will work

Nope, I don't like remakes like this. The new Hawaii Five-0 is a good example. Tried to watch it, just not the classic original. Make new series all you want, but leave the classics alone!

I'll give it a chance. That was must see TV in the dorms. My pal's Dad was the AV guy for the Drake Hotel in Chicago. So pal had a big TV & VCR on a cart in his room. 10 guys and gals stuffed in that little room with the big TV. 24" er! '86 , '87.
