this one is interesting and can tie into the "are we all psychic" thread conversation as to how it may relate to shutting down the frontal area of the brain, opening of the third eye and meditation....... lucid dreaming is in effect the shutting down of the brain in as much as the world and the days problems are forgotten, so no encumbrances to misguide the thoughts....no static.......so basically a very deep form of meditation.... leaving the mind free to reach out in a natural way freely........ just random thinking here and throwing it out there......
