Language: what happened?

Random story, but shortly after my cousin murdered a friend of mine, I was at work and blurted out $***! My co-worker, whom is very anti-profanity, says "You should say shoot"
I looked her dead in the eye and said "$h***ing generally doesn't kill people"
It's subjective what people find offensive

I recently had a "discussion" on Facebook with a lady who took offense to my use of dropping a couple F bombs in a comment. Her viewpoint was I could easily have gotten my point across without profanity and could clean up my act. My opinion was Of course I could clean up my act, and yeah I could get my point across without profanity, but using it in this situation got my emotions across, and the post I was commenting on did not deserve any type of cleaning up on my half. If anything, I should've cursed more.
I hate it when someone lectures you on youtube, FB or wherever you post. People need to mind their business, unless you are posting on their site.
