Something similar happened to Neil Armstrong. His barber in the small town where he lived here in Ohio swept up his hair and sold it to a hair collector. He didn't get nearly the price Elvis' hair sold for, I think it was in $5K range, but Armstrong sued the barber. Between his legal bills and lost business after the story went public, the barber lost money.

Idk why Neil didn’t just let the man make some cash with the hair. What a jerk move.
