James Webb Space Telescope: Looking back in time to catch the earliest starlight in creation

Scott Pelley reports on the James Webb Space Telescope, due to launch December 22. Scientists hope it will be able to see the universe's first stars and galaxies.

Now this is the most amazing thing we’ve done in a long time. We will have eyes in space without having to travel. Wouldn’t it be something if we look all the way back in time and see the face of God. Seeing back in time gives my brain a work out. It’s hard to grasp. I will be looking forward to this.
