It Blew My Mind.......

I'm glad they included Dark City on this list. When it came out I was memorized by it both stylistically and how it choose to explore the essence of humanity. It was not afraid to ask the deep questions; Do you know the way to Shell Beach?

Goosebumps.
I actually tried to write a novel called 'Sunshine Beach' inspired by this, but I was really busy and couldn't get it together, but that clearly had a big impact on me. The novel would have been about being trapped in a supposed paradise town called Sunshine Beach which wasn't what it seemed rather than trying to escape an obvious Hell to the beach. But if you know Dark City you can see the inspiration.

That's a very interesting idea.

Weren't any floating white balloons keeping people from escaping, were there?

Behind her Eyes is a British mini series. This was a huge shocker and keeps the viewer guessing about everyone until the end. It is so strange you have to keep watching. A real physiological thriller. I thought I had it figured out but was totally wrong. If you want a real mind bender this is worth a watch.

I agree! I saw this and had to watch it a second time with Mr. Garnet to get his reaction, It was truly amazing when it all played out.

I don't know if either of you have Britbox, but this mini-series is initially funny, but get really intense in the last episode.

That's a great idea. Needs a name. Roger? Grover?
This reminds me of my favourite game that still works in Windows (for now) Out of Order, which is about a man who starts in his bedroom, but outside it's a weird place called 'The Town'. Near the end he confronts the secret ruler of The Town and says' 'Wait! Was this whole thing a rip-off of The Prisoner?'
Seriously, I'd only ever seen the cowboy episode of the Prisoner when I was in infant school (which is a pretty misleading way to be introduced).. It wasn't shown at all on British TV in the 90s, so I didn't get to see it until later, but it became a huge favourite when I eventually did.

I missed this. I have to give it a look.
