Is the White House haunted?

I can believe it possibly is. There have been many deaths in the White House since 1841:
  • April 4, 1841 - President William Henry Harrison
  • September 10, 1842 - First Lady Letitia Tyler
  • July 9, 1850 - President Zachary Taylor
  • February 20, 1862 - Willie Lincoln, Son of Abraham Lincoln
  • December 15, 1873 - Fredrick Dent, First Lady Julia Grant's father
  • January 1, 1883 - Elisha Hunt Allen, Minister of the Kingdom of Hawaii to the United States
  • October 25, 1892 - First Lady Caroline Harrison
  • August 6, 1914 - First Lady Ellen Wilson
  • December 5, 1950 - Charles G. Ross, White House Press Secretary
  • December 5, 1952 - Margaret Wallace, First Lady Bess Truman's mother
Then there is the potential for 'stone tape' residual activity, potentially recording events from the past, especially during the war of 1812 and the infamous burning of the White House by the British. The energies and emotions that this building must have seen throughout its history, not just as the office of the President, but as a residential property for the same.
