Politics Is ISIS Real?

The Middle East is home to some of the Worlds oldest cultures and civilizations and a transitional change to a Democratic society executed from outside elements would be nigh on impossible , it was never the intent of the Western powers to engage this , it has to do with control such as oil and natural gas resources . If these countries had neither do you think anyone would be interested in spending billions of dollars to change regimes , the answer of course is NO !

Except that...well, there's not nearly as much oil there as many people think. There is a huge misconception in the United States about where the nation's petroleum comes from.

Here's a graph detailing where the surveyed US citizens believe most oil to the US comes from:

Here's what the top exporters to the US actually are:

us-oil-imports-top-10-1024x717.png

As you can see, the only Gulf state exporter of any significance is Saudi Arabia - but even their export to the US is less than half of Canada's export. And if you were to combine Mexico with the rest of Central America, their net supply would be greater as well. Iraq, funnily enough, has never really been a big producer of oil - even before the 2003 invasion by US-led forces. And the kicker is that development of oil in Canada and Central and South America is only getting bigger, while the US is slowly weaning itself off imports from across the Atlantic. At the moment, the Middle East supplies only about a quarter of the USA's imported oil.

But now you may be wondering if the Middle East is so renowned for it's oil, where is it all going if not to the United States?

That's right. About 75% of China's growing oil imports are coming from the Middle East. Places like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Qatar, etc. And that number is expected to go nowhere else but up.

Middle East Oil Exports by Destination (Actual and Projected)
figure8.jpg

In a nutshell, given just how much oil is found elsewhere and how readily other nations are to trade it, I've personally never really bought the argument that getting involved in Iraq or Afghanistan was primarily to secure their respective oil reserves. The math just doesn't make sense. Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and other more closer nations are more than willing to sell the US their oil - without any need for a costly military intervention.

I'm absolutely no expert in this at all BUT....is not the idea simply CONTROL of it? Whether it comes to the US or not seems a moot point to me. It's CONTROLLING it...period. That is what the world is based on these days.

I view the rise of ISIS as a prime demonstration of the law of unintended consequences. I find it impossible to believe 'WE' created it on purpose. History is filled with the former, but shining a light of reality on the latter, not too many examples hold up. By 'WE' I mean a secret society of ; bankers, Bildeburgers, CoFR, Free Masons, Halliburton, the Jews, oil soaked Arabs and Persians who hate OTHER oil soaked Arabs and Persians, the wiley Chinese, The Pope, Wall St. traders ,Monsanto, Queen Liz, Neo Cons, Ukranian Nazi's, Illinois Nazis, Trump's hair, the military industrial complex, Planet X, the CIA, Dick Cheney, satanic Teletubbies, MI6, Rockefellers and Rothschilds, Big Pharma, and 1%ers - ALL got together in Fukeshema and harmoniously hatched a scheme to create ISIS and magically benefit from it.

Or a simpler option with fewer moving parts: A bunch of disaffected Sunnis, in an unstable region were organized by the remnants of an Iraqi war machine. I'll throw in President O, (read Zero), into the mix with his actions that agitated the mess. Ancient hatreds combined with religious fanaticism, real military leaders, and a bunch o' heavy weaponry can only be bad news.

Here's a way to view history from 'Sleepwalkers', an explaination of the lead up to WW1:

History is influenced by underlying trends or undercurrents, but the foam on top of the water - the recent political decisions , change the way we respond to the undercurrents. It's a new deck and a new deal. Unintended consequences.

Not much into Infowars. I prefer National Review. So I'll kiss my picture of William F. Buckley and say goodnight.

Sure, there is always the stated motive, which sounds altruistic, and then the real motive, which is anything but. It could be oil, it could be some strategic advantage gained or kept from another party. The problem is that the vast majority of people just take the government's word without any critical thinking of their own and go into cheer leader "USA! USA! USA!" mode. The bombs fall, people, usually innocent people, are killed, and it's packaged up and sold as entertainment for the masses. It's all just one big video game any more. I'm not sure most people even comprehend that the destruction they see is real.

You didn't even include the Shape-shifting Draco-Reptilians in that list? For shame!

But yeah, at my work I'm always ready to point out the Law of Unintended Consequences, and how actions today produce reactions that can be completely unforeseen in the future. The current state of the Persian Gulf reminds me so much of that.

Sorry Cash, I can't spell retaliem repterlian........... uh, lizard people. Just throwing this out here. Hopefully somebody will find this as interesting as I did.

FYI, re: Christopher Clarks 'The Sleepwalkers How Europe Went to War in 1914'. There is a you tube video of a lecture he gave at a Dutch University, about an hour and a half, where he distills the convoluted lead up to the big complicated hot mess. But throughout the lecture you can glean the thought process of a historian . Also, he elucidates on unintended consequences in a manner that bridges WW1 with todays events in the middle east.

There are a ton of unique perspectives here.

Plus, I betcha the University will grant you 3 credit hours if you mail them a term paper.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...l-document-pakistan-threatens-india/30674099/

An apparent Islamic State recruitment document found in Pakistan’s lawless tribal lands reveals that the extremist group has grand ambitions of building a new terrorist army in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and triggering a war in India to provoke an Armageddon-like “end of the world.”

The 32-page Urdu-language document obtained by American Media Institute (AMI) and reviewed by USA TODAY details a plot to attack U.S. soldiers as they withdraw from Afghanistan and target American diplomats and Pakistani officials.

AMI obtained the document from a Pakistani citizen with connections inside the Pakistani Taliban and had it independently translated from Urdu by Harvard researcher and translator Mustafa Samdani. The Pakistani's identity was shared with USA TODAY, which has agreed not to identify him publicly because of concerns for his safety.

The document was reviewed by three U.S. intelligence officials, who said they believe the document is authentic based on its unique markings and the fact that language used to describe leaders, the writing style and religious wording match other documents from the Islamic State, also known as ISIL and ISIS. They asked to remain anonymous because they are not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

Just adding the latest. They want to provoke Armageddon.
