ALL OF US HAVE TO CLEAN THE HOUSE. MOST OF US HAVE AT LEAST ONE OR TWO "CHORES" WE JUST HATE TO DO!

WHICH ONES DO YOU DISLIKE DOING THE MOST?
DOES SOMEONE ELSE HELP YOU WITH THE HOUSE CLEANING?

MY VOTE IS FOLDING CLOTHES AND PUTTING THEM UP. I DON'T MIND THE WASH AND DRY PART, BUT IT'S 7 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR THE FOLD AND PUT BACK PART. LOL

I hate vacuuming. I have a problem with my shoulder from a riding injury when I was young. Pushing a vacuum aggravates it. One day I want a rumba !

I have a son who is my rumba...lol The only perk to my illness is I'm not allowed to vacuum/dust or be around heavy duty cleaning products. I honestly can now say "nope! Can't do that!" However, the down side is waiting for someone else to do it when I think it needs done.

I have never had house help at all. My husband never ever did any house chore. He goes to work every day but that’s as far as the help goes. He will do outdoor stuff when he has to. It is something I had to make peace with to stay married. He just won’t do it. By the time lindsey got old enough to really be a help she was knee deep in studies and then off to college. There were days when I was working I prayed nobody stopped by unannounced.

Raising boys, I never had a chance at keeping the house looking other than I had just had a break in! lol I have learned to allow the dust to be considered "sparkles" and I have trained the dust bunnies not to bite. And if you want that clean laundry, go pull it out of the dryer or the basket.

Amen to that. It is a liberating view.

I hate scrubbing toilet bowls, next to that, I hate cleaning the bathtub. With fibro, I have had to let Mr. Garnet take over, so it gets done once a month. When we moved into this house, I was planning to budget for a cleaning person once a month, but COVID put a stop to that. Mr. Garnet has a particular aversion to shutting cabinet doors after opening them. Same with drawers, closet doors, etc. Drives me nuts!

I do a good bit of the house cleaning, have never minded running the vaccum, doing laundry, cooking, etc. The one thing I hate is dusting, primarily because Mrs Duke has hundreds of knickknacks, figurines, salt cups, etc. throughout the house. Each of them has to be individually dusted.

Sounds like my mom's house with the knick knacks. As a kid, we hated getting assigned that chore! All of my little stuff is in a glass curio cabinet. Once a year dusting and cleaning the glass.
