It all started when I had a dream hugging an x friend. I woke up at 1AM to 4 knocks like someone was knocking on the door and it was loud too. My husband was asleep out cold. He is a deep sleeper as am I. And I heard it and then a week later I heard it again at 2AM and last night I heard it at 5:42AM...it woke me up and I was not happy. Can anyone gives me any ideas on what it can be? Or tips? It is driving me crazy and I wish I could find out what it wants to show me I feel like it wants me to see something.

Thank you!

and no it is nothing in the house like the pipes settling and etc.

Hi Leenie. Has anyone you know passed away recently? Are you near an anniversary of someone passing? Knocks like this can often be simple messages from those departed who wish to let you know they are OK and watching over you. If you've have no other paranormal activity going on, this may be the case. And welcome to the forum.

Anything else paranormal happening in your world?
Yes I see a lot of white orbs and shadow people they come when I least expect it. and my Grandmas death was the 11th of August I just found out but I don't think she would try to wake me up by knocking she knows how much anxiety I have.

First things first....stop fearing these things. They cannot harm you. Knocking, cats and orbs are not unusual things and by and of themselves nothing to be panicked about. Sometimes we begin to open up to certain gifts and become more attuned to the paranormal and when we start experiencing it, it can become a bit unnerving. I'm going to put a link here I want you to read, and you will see a few steps you can take to possibly stopping some of this.

could the dream about hugging my x friend have anything to do with all of this?

Anything is possible. Have you spoken to your friend since the dream?

With the paranormal, it's a matter of ruling out things, Leenie. One at a time, until you get to the point that all obvious things, including other explanations, have been ruled out. What you are left with is the paranormal. Then you start trying to fit those pieces of the puzzle together. Sometimes we don't find out the reason for the sudden wave of activity at all. And I say wave because these things normally appear that way. They are not consistent. You may have a period of nothing, and then a period of sudden activity.

We don't know what the triggers are all the time to cause it to happen. I just want you to not be afraid of this. I've had activity life long....and I'm over 60 now. Some I know why, some I don't.
