Hello Darkness My Old Friend...

Welp, darn thing about hanging the shingle out with the painting company. I spent the 90's painting stores at night. That has all kinds of life style changes. Art Bell got me through.

I didn't like sunrise like Dracula. Now it's kinda cool. Waking up to move the sprinklers for 4 hours ain't fun, but it reminds me of playing golf with my Dad. He had the first tee time scheduled for 3 decades.
The Dew Sweepers !

It's all good.

Except for the Army, where they made us take a lap around Kentucky before breakfast.

Well, just 3 weeks from today we shall fall back with those clocks and resume our game of moving time around. Dark by 5:00 PM is coming at us!

How do you feel about these time changes? Do you prefer it dark early evening?
Does your body adjust quickly to these time changes?
How about your pets? How well do they adjust to a new feeding time?
Didn't the government promise us they'd stop this? What happened?
Anybody want this clock thing to stop? Pick one and stick, say I! lol

I don't adjust well to the time changes at all. I think we should get rid of daylight "savings" time because it serves no real purpose except to put us off balance for a couple fo weeks twice a year.

I find the time changes annoying. Our smart neighbors in Arizona refuse to do it. I wish we did the same.
New Mexico was going to change by staying on daylight "saving" time permanently but it caused an outrage, and one of those reasons people were upset is that it would keep us out of synch with Arizona all year, and part of the year we would be out of synch with Colorado and Utah. At least part of the year we are in the same time zone, but permanent daylight 'saving' time would set us apart from them all year. Many people wrote the state legislators and said we should be doing the same thing as Arizona. If the 4 states that made up the New Mexico Territory went along with Arizona I wouldn't care if anyone else switched back and forth.

I hate the change, I think they started it so 9 to 5 workers could get some rays after work but most people stay inside now on the computer so it's just a pain, messing up our body clock. I'm with K9, I love the night.
Originally I believe it was to save fuel during WW2, I have no clue what lies they told to get people to do it again in the 60's.
