Bologna was certainly in my school lunchbox, especially when it was a school trip someplace. But it was paired with real cheddar cheese, so that made it good. The first time I tried frying it, it tasted like hot rubber with salt on it. Yuck!

Here I’m Michigan it’s a staple. We eat it every way you can think. We even have a bologna festival ! My fav is fried with horseradish and melted Swiss cheese. We eat it fried with eggs too. Spam is the same. Love it cooked in the same ways. Bring on the spam and bologna.
