17 Of The Most Haunted Churches In The United States
Holy ghost gets a new meaning.
I remember reading about this somewhere. It would be truly wonderful to view it in person.Don't think this church is haunted but, this is on my bucket list to see...
I posted something here awhile ago. My buddy built stairs so he told me about it. I'm sure there are a million ways to explain the origins but, the circumstances do align towards a miracle for sure. At worst, a kind (and talented) individual came in and built an amazing piece of art for a good cause and did not take compensation. Kindness goes farther than money any day.I remember reading about this somewhere. It would be truly wonderful to view it in person.
churches are hospitals for the soul.... along with gatherings of everyday people, theres also those with their own "demons" to battle, depression, addictions, lost and needing, many, many people cross through the doors weekly. for someone who feels emotion, empaths, that can be a very powerful place to be. the energy left in such places, churches, hospitals, etc.. is very strong and may linger for quite a whileAwhile back i did a job at a local church. In the trades you can work alone as help gets jostled back and forth to compensate someone else being away, sick, etc. As much as i love working with others, working solo does have it's perks. I got set up and started replacing a bunch of 2x4 lay-in lights with newer LED versions. Only a few times i felt uneasy at work and that hung over me the entire day. I have worked in 'secured' areas that are under 24-7 camera view, so it certainly wasn't that. I did feel i was watched the entire time changing the lights. At one point i even said out loud, hey, i'm improving your space. Be nice lol. Churches are a place of gathering for many reasons. There are meetings, schooling, funerals, weddings, worship, etc, so even if not haunted, these places can retain a print from one or all of these events. The influx of emotions can change the atmosphere of a location so, maybe that? Though, it didn't feel like an imprint, more like someone scrutinizing my intrusion and disruption of that area. Was the basement haunted by a former clergy or faculty member? Maybe.
Very true! Recently, I visited a local Cathedral for devotion hour. Just sitting there in silence with others for one hour I felt such peace, and spiritual renewal.churches are hospitals for the soul....
