Guns, Ammo, and Gun Gear

This will be my next purchase.
Taurus Raging Bull 7 round .357 mainly for Bear/ predator defense. This was the 2019 NRA Hunting Revolver of the year.
Buffalo bore hard cast heavy outdoorsman Ammo will provide the deep penetration. It’s all about shot placement….Yes!

I like Buffalo Bore alot. I use underwood 200gr and 220gr 10mm hard cast. I have alot of underwood mainly because I screwd up an order and got most everything in +P or +P+. So I had to order some non +P rounds.

Other guns run SIG elite or M17 124gr +P nato spec.

Shot placement is important, but it also helps when you are placing it at 1500 feet per second

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Underwood ammo. The big guy from Kentucky Ballistics primarily uses that! I also use Buffalo Bore in my 9mm, +p. It’s incredible Legendary guide Phil Showmaker killed a Grizz with that ammo.

I’ve been doing a lot of reading about 10 mm versus 357 magnum for Bear defense. Next weekend I’m gonna go test drive a 10 mm at a local indoor range and if I like it, and can produce quick follow up shots, I’m gonna go ahead and get one.
