I had it in early Feb, then early march I think. Either way I was flu like for about three days then ok. I have read it depends on your blood type whether you will get covid or have reactions to the vaccine. Still I am glad I had it. I was around someone with it that didnt know she had it a few weeks ago and IMO the vaccine is a lifesaver for me. Blood type A is the earliest known and is similar to primate blood type. It is the oldest and seems to be the most suceptible to getting the virus. Type O is the newest and the strongest type against covid and really all other diseases. Type A is found primarily in Native tribes and those of hunter gather type life styles. Found in Tibet and africa and tribal locations of old peoples I gather. I am type A .Also found in the Caucasus and India. India is in a real state of panic as those poor people are suffering in a totally disturbing way. Seeing all the cremations on the Ganges is disturbing .

I have wondered if those having a strong reaction to the shot would be the types that would have Covid the worst if they caught it without the shot.

I continued my magical mystery tour of random symptoms today by waking up with a rash all around my middle! I had a telephone consultation with my doctor and he said that he wouldn't have linked it to the vaccination, but given my last few days it probably is to do with that. Apparently it doesn't match the description of the rare rash which precedes clotting though and it's already fading.
Oh, and I keep forgetting to ask my blood type. I've been wanting to know ever since those theories about one blood type and alien related things took off, but I never remember to ask! I even had a blood test on Tuesday and it still didn't jog my memory!

Also, my mum had her first shot of the Pfizer vaccine on Monday and had no side-effects. The Spanish vaccination center sounds a lot less organised and more laid back than the one I went to, which was like a really polite military operation.

I should clarify that a 120 pulse isn't dangerous; it's about the same as a healthy person jogging, just not something that should be happening from sitting down in a waiting room for twenty minutes. So I was never in danger and I don't want to put anyone off getting vaccinated. I had an adrenaline rush and rapid pulse problably over 120, which then took a few hours to calm down. It was alarming and worth getting me to hospital because that's not listed as a side-effect and could have been the start of something worse, but... it wasn't. I spent the next day sleeping a lot and feeling feeling rough but was okay by midnight and I'm completely fine today other than a slightly sore shoulder and a slightly sore inner elbow from having a cannula* shoved into a vein in case it was needed.
On the upside, I've been worried ever since I had Covid, and moreso after I had it again, about hidden damage and I've now had a proper medical with ECG and blood tests and... I'm fine!
I think this may have been related to my ongoing condition, which remains a mystery (the doctor at the hospital was baffled by it), but I had a brief episode of tachycardia** a few years back, which was put down to an anxiety attack/ excitement at the time as it only lasted an hour, but perhaps I'm prone to it and the vaccine triggered an unusually intense episode. (Though still not dangerous.)
I'm so well that I stayed up untill 4am last night then got woken up less than five hours later by my phone and a total stranger asking 'Are you [my name]' and then after I'd checked and confirmed that I was me, 'Are you alright?'*** and I dealt with that just fine then carried on with a busy day.
So, don't let me put you off getting a jab. I have the second scheduled and will go. Covid was a nightmare and I spent a whole year with problems from that (and my sense of smell is still not quite there yet), while this was a little drama done and dusted in two days. No contest.
My mum had hers too, on Monday and she is also well, having had no effects at all.
Honestly. My poor old mother having to worry about her frail young son!

*Those spikes with a valve which IV tubes are attached to. I HATE them!
** Abnormally high pulse
*** There are worse ways to be woken up than a strange woman asking if I'm okay, but it was a little confusing. It wasn't even about my hospital visit, just a coincidence!

As a side note, my usual health problem means that after eating I usually lose four hours of the day feeling awful and aften having to sleep or at least lie down, but the adrenaline rush and sped up heart rate overrode that, so this all happened while I would have been doing that. I traded lying in bed for a walk through pleasant trees to the hospital and had a conversation with an off duty nurse when I could have been incapacitated. So I lost nothing and actually gained something despite the worry.
Glad you are better Benway; glad you got out too but not for the reason you did.

You escapades are important for others to hear. So please don’t whitewash your experiences.
Me too I’m on day two after the shot and am doing good.
Lynne, what brand vaccine did you get?

I got my first Moderna shot two weeks ago. So two weeks to the second.

I’ve noticed this week that I have a very low level headache at the base of my skull. And, for three days in a row, in the morning around 7:45AM, I get very aggressive itching across the back of both hands and in between my fingers as well as across the top of both feet.
