So i went back and bought the stein on Sunday. I had dinner at my mom's house afterwards and through the course of the day, found out my aunt passed away. The odds are staggering and eye opening when being urged to buy this family memory item and upon gaining it back, lose a part of that side of the family the same day.

Yeah me too. Too many things aligned towards me buying it that couldn't be ignored. What purpose it all served i have no idea but, it felt like it was meant to be. If it truly was the stein from my childhood, wow ok lol but, i can't be certain. I can't see it being a common item since i have never seen another in my travels. Either way, it's with 'family' again.

I am so sorry to hear of your aunt passing; my sincere condolences. It wouldn't surprise me if it is the same cup. You really are getting in tune with your physic abilities.
