Goblin?

I just looked to see if monkeys are native to Mexico. Thanks to Google and AI, here's what I found.

"Mexico is home to various species of New World monkeys, including spider monkeys and howler monkeys, particularly in the southern states and tropical regions."

Guess where Veracruz is?

Yep it looks like the face of a spider monkey. I sure hope it wasn’t left to die.

If it's a monkey, it got in the cave, so should be able to get out.

When I was a kid playing with others in the woods, we found a very large, hollow dead tree. We realized it was hollow only after seeing what turned out to be a baby raccoon sticking its head out of a hole just a few feet off the ground. Looked similar to the video.
