I unfortunately heard it from 2A to 3A....John Houge singing Happy Birthday to him, then Glynnis telling him how wonderful he was. Actually, I heard Tommy kissing a$$ during the first hour for a bit, too. (I was reeeeaaalllly trying to go back to sleep during that diatribe.) I truly have never heard of a show that dedicates a full program a year to bolster someone's ego to this degree. Yeah, I think SR had it right....a root canal would have been less painful. You'd think he'd be embarrassed by that much attention and ego stroking but he just eats it up.
