Just because we can doesn't make it ethical. Making them faster does not benefit the horse only the person banking on the wins. Next thing you know, all races will be identical outcomes. Hmm, how about a cyborg terminator horse next? That'll bank some money! *Smacks head*

we can alter, and possibly change DNA, create super animals, clone others and bring back long lost species......... but no cure for cancer...... i think that would be far more important research.... horses are already fast and strong and the mammoth has waited 10000 years, a few more wont hurt. lets do the life saving stuff first.....

My thoughts exactly! I hate that they are mucking around with something to benefit a few rich people and not the breed itself. There are some serious health issues that are heart breaking to horse owners that would benefit the animal itself, that's where the research should go, not to benefit what someone wants to use it for. I still want a wooly mammoth though, and a Tasmanian tiger.
