I don't believe that Friday the 13th has any significance unless you believe that it does! I have a brother who was born on the 13th and he is weirdly magical.

Agreed. That's borne out by the difference in superstitions across culture. For example, "13" is unlucky in the West, but it's "4" in Asian countries. Not uncommon for buildings in some countries in Asia to have no fourth floor.

I'm not expecting anything bad to happen today (knock on wood) because I'm not superstitious at all!

I actually told my family that today is my favorite holiday and I will celebrate by eating junk food and watching a cheesey slasher movie or two.

Where I live, the houses are numbered from 1 to 38 but there's no number 13 .

My Dad was born on Friday the 13th so he always treated every Friday the 13th as one of HIS special days. I was supposed to have been born on his birthday but as was her norm my Mom ran a little late.
