Nothing new, lol.

Amazing how you can entrance the natives with just a flashlight.

eh, hard to say, when it comes to next gen weapons platforms the military is 20 to 50 years ahead of civilian tech. that may not seem like much but the gap has increased drastically. think of where we are now compared to the 80's. what darpa and some of the classified systems being developed now, with the jump in computer tech and physics. it could possibly be amazing where we actually stand and what we have actually accomplished.... think of where we will be in 50 yers and realize that is what we have now......possibly.

I know you understand this Paul, but for those who don't, the reason most of the stuff associated with the recent DoD interest in UFO sightings/reports is classified is to protect means/methods/sources that gathered/provided the data and/or imagery they're looking at.

It's entirely possible an image of something as mundane as a commercial airline could be classified if the means of how the image was taken is classified. Spoofing electronics is the next big step foward in warfare. If the bad guys don't know what high tech gizmos you have, however, they can't build a countermeasure.
