A few years ago I was working in Los Angeles and some colleagues were amazed that we didn't have hibachi or sushi restaurants here so they took me to Benihana. I was a bit dubious about eating raw fish but I'll try anything so before hitting the main show and it really was a show I had my first sushi experience with warmed saki, hooked to say the least.

Whenever I travel to a country or region I try and and sample the local produce and I've rarely been disappointed, so much amazing food out there to explore.

    Your highlights or lows?

Whoever decided that a bottom dwelling mudsucker fish with whiskers tossed in lemon pepper could be considered edible and served as an expensive dish in large cities... was a genius.

Because where my roots are from, we know them as a dirty and nasty necessity to help keep the already toxic rivers they live in just a little less likely to cause flesh eating gaping wounds on accidental skin contact.

    BON Appétit!

Didn't think I would like calamari ended up being tricked into eating it as "onion rings" I enjoyed it.

I'm not big on sea food so I've avoided that despite it being a big thing in some of the countries I've been to, I'll give that a shot for sure

Wildebeest and warthog, had both in South Africa. The wildebeest was in a spicy stew, warthog ribs were grilled.

Oh but of course, and send my plate as well. Then kindly dump it on top of his pompous head. Along with my best regards.

    Bon jour
