Life threatening flooding continues tonight across Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Here is what McDowell County, WV looks like!

The levee near Rives along the Obion River has failed, resulting in rapid onset flooding of the town of Rives and surrounding areas.

At 1119 AM CST, The West TEMA Regional Director reported that a levee along the Obion River at Rives failed.

Mr. Garnet has a cousin in Tennessee.

No, but T-Bob lives part-time in West Virginia.
Our place is on a mountain, so should be fine. I've seen reports of major flooding in Monroe and surrounding counties. From the reports I've seen, we could probably look down and see the road below us flooded, as we're right above Indian Creek. Major flooding here in KY, too, all around, but we're high enough here that were fine.

Glad to hear your place is ok Bob.
