Wow that was scary, good thing it happened after they were on the ground. I can't imagine if that happened while in flight. Whats going on with our airplanes? Are they aging and need replacing?
 
There needs to be more of an explanation for this happening. 131 passengers lives were at great risk. It doesn’t sound like much is being done. Was someone sleeping at the controller desk?

Ive had the privilege and honor to have flown with the 160th aka Night Stalkers. Best helicopter pilots in the world! They are insane! Most intense rides ive ever been on!
It was a huge honor for me! I love combat helicopter pilots! They are my heros!

Wow what a scary situation. I can’t believe the airport doesn’t fix this problem. It sounds like they should close the runways until it’s fixed.
