I remember reading articles by Rees in the 70's, lol. I am amazed he is still living!
He's made an obvious assumption, IMO. But he also discounts bio-engineering which may eliminate the need for some electronic augmentation. We shall see what our off-world descendants morph into. Part of me is envious of their journey.
