ohhhhh good point ,but they are adjustable, but very good point
Sorry meant that you don’t use it just to illuminate things. Those beveled crowns on some lights are good for cracking open a can, or or getting a mugger to back off
Good to point out the differences between "ordinary" EDC and a SHTF EDC scenario which you're right, would be much different.
In most cases. Some tactical lights just have a few modes and maybe you can change the order of the output. LEOs want bright light to sweep a room, a blinding strobe to disorient the bad guys, and even brighter to search at night for bad guys. Just goes to show why there are so many different flashlights out there.
I love flashlights / headlamps and could probably open a retail store with all the different ones I own (and still keep buying) and have different types for different uses from mini mags to ones so bright they make night look like day. And the same with headlamps, from just simple little lights the kids love to play with when outside at night or camping to ones that have various colors and flashing red emergency beacons in front and back for when we are out in the field and need to signal without talking or don't want bright lights shining when we're out and trying to avoid outside interference with the public
Yes, I love flashlights too! The array of different types these days is just amazing. I love the headlamp ones, even just a basic one that clips on the bill of a baseball cap is really handy. Any type of job where you need light and can free up your hands is so much easier than having to hold a light. Think of changing a tire at night holding a flashlight! Good points on lights when you're in the field. I was just mentioning that you don't always want or need the brightest light possible.
I have a light that is also a stun gun
Well, since this is a family friendly site, I'll go with right thumb. I can use it to give approval in the most British way, or in a pinch, I can attempt to summon an emergency ride.
That would be seven!
Ha for responding Sea.
