My mother was very, very superstitious.
Like with the card. Because it was a card associated with death, it had to be removed and immediately. Otherwise "death" was in the house.
I understand what you are saying about mental illness, I think. And perhaps her superstitions were a form of that.
So complicated.
thank you for taking the time to respond to me. I will look around this site for superstitions and see what others have experienced, think about it.
