Fireworks or drone shows?

We are close to the 4th of July and the fireworks have come out to play in my neighborhood. Some towns are doing their fireworks this weekend, but one town has switched over to a drone show set to music. This trend appears to be catching on in a lot of places.
Which is your preference? Things that go boom or silent sky fliers making pictures?
While we're at it, how do your pets do during fireworks? Any tips to pass on to those of us with animals that react to all the noise?​

I dont like to go see fireworks or drones. Large crowds and traffic ill pass....lol!
I do like setting my own off,but I can take it or leave it.
Most of my animals dont care some hide.

I'll vote for drones. Fireworks tend to scare the dogs. Also, people are severely injured each year with fireworks. While it may be their own fault, drones don't go boom in someone's hand or face.

Everytime I walk in the grocery store here im tempted! The kid in me sees all the fireworks and desperately wants them. The wife's voice in my head is what stops me....kinda. I may have gotten a few small things...lol!

I loved fireworks as a kid but they ended up banning it for the general public in nanny state Oz. I used to put cotton in my dogs ears and a bandage around her head, same with bad storms. The dogs I have now don't really care.

Fireworks. I have a window at the top of a four storey building at the edge of the city looking toward the skyline and at New Year if I don't go out the view is truly spectacular as displays across the whole city all go off at once. I somehow doubt that drones would have quite the same majesty.
