My Favorite Halloween movies change sometimes, but the most liked are The Shining (original) Let The right One In (foreign version) and some children's favorites: Halloween Town, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Also Carnival of Souls, a cult classic.

Halloween isn't a big deal here but I don't like watching anything to gruesome at this time as it might bring in something unwanted with everthing else going on.

I'll also add John Carpenter's The Thing. While it's not really a horror film, it's still very much worth it.
