Possible old women in background - having a normal conversation OR she could be from Boston, then Water makes sense. I don't sense any direct manipulation here - but, I'm a master blocker... and a very visual energy sensor - IF I hear or audibly pick up something - its on a pretty dam)ed impressively STRONG wavelength and unmistakable... except for the raidio thing which EVERYONE was dealing with. This reads like a young adult male speaking into a recorder while his mom and whoever is in the kitchen bsing.

Take disembodied voices. They have to be in the audible range of human hearing for us to hear them, which means they are generally being heard at frequencies of between 20Hz and 200KHz. Something has to have spoke the words heard if no natural explanation can be given.......

There is a growing belief that EVP recordings are not limited to below 20Hz (infrasound range) as once believed. It is becoming more accepted in the paranormal world that EVPs are formed through energy manipulation over the generation of actual sound waves. One of the main reasons behind this changing view is that, unless you are using specialised infrasound microphones, the frequency response of most commercially available microphones will not actually allow them to record infrasound easily (if at all), and as such, if the microphone cannot record them, then how can infrasound get onto recordings? The only way (it is theorised) it can is through sound imprinting over sound recording. And if infrasound can be imprinted on a recording, then why not other frequencies higher up and through a process we do not yet understand (some investigators use the "stone tape" theory to try and explain this phenomenon)?

A few weeks ago, we did an investigation at a location where we captured a Class A EVP (it was a female saying "Thank You" in direct response to us). It was only captured on our digital voice recorder running at the time - it was not heard by us physically, we had no females in the group, we were a good mile from the nearest built-up area and it never showed up on the video audio, which was being recorded at the same time. This EVP was analysed and noted at the 86Hz - 1.4KHz ranges. Still low-level frequencies, but nowhere near infrasound levels.

EVP recordings are still debated in the investigative world. There is still a lot we do not understand, nor can explain, about them with any certainty. Such is the paranormal...........

I've found out stuff about this "sound imprinting", it seems a spirit can rewrite the recording when you save the file say at 40% of the original speed because I've tried with multiple recordings, and it's totally different dialogues than playing it back "live" at 40% to that of saving to a new file at 40% of the speed. (Hopefully that makes sense, I'm terrible at wording things)

Are you saying that when you save the file at a slower speed than the original, the recording is completely different than the original?

Yeah, I can play it back "live" at slower speed, it plays the same thing but I save it as a new file it changes same spirit just saying something different.
They are some how manipulating the audio itself when the file saves, all within a fraction of the second! I know this sounds unbelievable but I've tested it with multiple recordings.

I have some evps I'd like someone to checkout. There is quite a few, and most you can hear an anomaly. As the recordings progress you can hear full blown choruses sung by a child. To the end the where the spirit is arguing with me that it wants to stay and play. I would release it all openly to everyone, but I'm quite embarrassed by how drunk and stoned we were when this night took place in my home.

I guess my concern here is if this spirit was arguing with you in real time, could you hear this audibly or were you doing immediate play backs and had an ongoing "conversation" with it? If you were drunk/stoned, this may have been a negative spirit communication, which is never a good thing. Did you issue an open invitation for "whatever is here talk to me?"

You could hear it like you were carrying one with a real person. No need to wonder what is said its plain as day

So, were you hearing a voice only on the recorder (EVP) or could you also hear it with the ears in real time before you listened to the tape? It's possible to hear it that way as a voice coming out of thin air sometimes.

I only started recording because the person I was with couldn't believe it. We carried on almost a full blown conversation for about 3 hours. We didn't need the recording. I'm very sensitive but I try to hide it. Doesn't always work for me. This spirit has been here for awhile just never spoke before or since
