Do you do anything to celebrate Earth Day? I think The Nature Conservancy does some good work:

I'm old enough to remember the first Earth Day, since I was part of the original movement back in 1970. I was still in high school and for the first event I was in charge of a recycling event run by "Students to outlaw Pollution" or "STOP".
Used to give to The Nature Conservancy....back when I could afford to do so. Now I just try to keep my backyard as a nature spot. I feed the birds daily and let the bunnies, chipmunks and squirrels frolic and live in my little bit of forest!
