OK...I'm moving the drone story over to News, as that is what it is now. It's all over the place and the amount of theories has grown. The government now admits that yup! There be some huge drones out there. They have also stated they are NOT hobbyist drones. They also say they aren't adversaries drones, they aren't ours, they aren't a danger to anyone, BUT they don't know what they are or where they come from. Now, I'm sorry, but not all of those statements can be true.

And yes, a few reports have been ID'd as planes, but they also admit and verify that they know that many are actually drones. (Kind of obvious when you have a bunch of them chasing behind a Coast Guard boat at speed.)

The statements conflict. If said drones are unknown, then how do they know the drones do not belong to another country....oh wait, China said on a phone call that the drones weren't theirs... Russia too....ummm yeah ;) So I see 4 possible theories. 1. Drones are Uncle SAM's and he don't want the public to know what's up ;) 2. Drones belong to another country and Uncle SAM doesn't want to say. 3. Aluminatii or another ultra secret private group ;) 4. ALIENS! :)
All of which the public will most likely not get the entire truth if any. Maybe someone gets lucky and shoots one down in an un-populated area(so no collateral damage) and can examine it ;ss

one theory tossed out is that they are ours and are looking for "something"..(not going into what that something is here)... which at first i ignored, but now it seems as though the "search" has expanded out into the area/location of interest.. so gonna keep watching that one for a while. the other theory is that they are adversaries drones.... either way is dangerous to let out... 1st theory would cause mass panic and fleeing of a city. 2nd theory would cause mass anger and people reacting in a hostile way..(causing more damage/danger than helping)... which leads to either they will at some point come forward and say they are just private/commercial, (realestate etc...) drones being used to "map" and area...... or that they really honestly dont know... which i do find hard to believe.. commercial drones are required to have a transmitter that "broadcasts" the users name address info etc.... if none of these are doing that they are not commercial, which only leaves govt. or someone who isnt playing properly....lol

Kinda odd none of the "drones" have been reported by aircrew (military/commercial/private) despite the airspace over/around NJ as being some of the most congested in the US. Newark, JFK, La Guardia, Islip, Teterboro and probably dozens of smaller airports are all in the area. Wouldn't you think at least one pilot would see and report these things?

And the AF base in EHT...close to sightings near Toms River NJ, Perhaps they're just not saying, even though they see ;ss

heard a talk radio program discussing it yesterday and it was said a few pilots have been interviewed and they all had the same responce, that it was aircraft landing and peoples sense of distance and size was compromised... along with mass hysteria
