Does new evidence point to Noah's Ark?

I first heard this news quite a while back that definitively said it must be the ark, then I later heard that it was only half of the ship (it broke up), then heard that it couldn't possibly be due to sea levels at the time or some reason like that. This is extremely fascinating, but it reminds me a lot of the search for Atlantis. Oh "WE FOUND IT"... then a quiet "nevermind", and you don't hear any more about it for a while.
I see the beginning of a similar trend with the recent release of the "alien superstructures". it took an understandable 6 years for them to break their findings, and I suspect some time will go by, and this story too will disappear from the news for awhile.
