A few years ago I bought a digital camera, and I love it but it has made me lazy.
I used to know how to set up a film camera off the top of my head. Now I just set the dlsr on auto mode and it does a better job than I could do.
Camera phones are pretty cool when you want to capture a pet moment.

A couple years ago after my Dad died, my niece's then 8 year old daughter found an old, inexpensive camera (35mm) while we were cleaning out the house. She had no idea even what it was, and as a result opened it and sadly exposed the film. We figured the film was from the early 2000s, we never got to see what Dad had taken photos of.
