Hikers Stumble Upon Burial Urn Left on Nature Trail in New York State | Coast to Coast AM

Authorities in New York State have something of a macabre mystery on their hands after some hikers turned over a burial urn that they had stumbled upon while exploring a nature trail.

It is obviously a burial urn and I would have left it. However I can see how this may not be allowed to be left on a trail. The authorities could simply burry the ashes on the spot and dispense with the urn.
