From childhood into adulthood, sometimes ya just gotta have some fun!
What crazy stunt or adventure did you do with a friend, or should I say "accomplice"?
Did you get caught, in trouble, or just hurt like heck the next morning?

As 12 year olds my mates and I had secret air rifles unknown to the parents and kept hidden. We ended up having mini wars with them which was pretty dangerous as they could kill a rabbit at a distance. One time one guy got shot in the cheek at about 50m so he snuck up and shot my best mate in the thigh at point blank. We had to dig the slug out to conceal the evidence but it got infected and we all got grounded for weeks with the rifles confiscated by the parents. We hated the sneek up guy for about two years after that, lol. it was for the best as it was only a matter of time until someone lost an eye or worse but we still hated him:mad:.

Sounds like one of my kids! When I was working long term care, I went on a trip to the county fair with staff and about 10 residents...all in wheelchairs. To accomplish this, I bribed my then 12 year old son with $10 to come along to be a volunteer chair pusher. Now, mind you, he did a great job and had already built a relationship with a resident named Shep. And Shep enjoyed being a bit of a troublemaker. He asked if my son could take him to visit a few sale booths so I figured "what trouble could there be with me in the same building and 9 other aides and nurses running about?" This was answered when my son got home and I saw he had snuck in his own "purchase" from the fair, which Shep kept hidden in his wheelchair! The two "guys" managed to buy a mini crossbow (must be 18 to purchase). I asked him what the heck he was thinking and my son looked me straight in the eye and said "Shep gave me permission! He's older than you so I had higher permission."

The next day Shep and I had a bit of a talk. Turns out he told my son to call him Grandpa to make the sale. And then he wiggled his eyebrows at me in sheer happiness that they had at least temporarily out smarted me...lol

Moral of the story...Boys will be boys no matter their age!

I'm sure I got caught doing mischief but can't remember specifically. But whatever it was, I'm sure that one of my brothers initiated it!
