Mystery as deer is spotted wearing high-vis jacket in British Columbia

The hapless animal was spotted several times wandering around with the yellow jacket fully zipped up.

It is obviously someone’s pet. Someone has tamed or raised this animal and has marked it to protect it against hunters and cars. No guarantee but it’s what I would do if I had befriended an animal that was hunted like a deer.
