Do curses work? Can you actually put a curse on someone? Do words and intent have enough power and impact on others/ places to open a doorway to bad energy?

Have you ever felt cursed? Were you able to break away from it on your own?

That's a good question. I do feel there is something to such things as black magic, voodoo, witchcraft, etc. But, I have heard they can be as dangerous to the practitioner as to the subject.

Interesting topic. In my family, there is a rumor about a family curse. I have seen things play out that make me wonder if it is true.

But I also believe that energy starts out neutral, and is then infused with negative or positive intent.

Good equation there, Crux. Having studied this quite a bit for personal reasons, I believe you are correct. Words have power. They are energy and can be used to heal or harm.

Absolutely correct, IMO. Having had a curse sent my direction by a family member, I spent a lot of time working to break that energy back to a neutral state.

Wasn't it something like whatever you cast you receive two fold? Nothing in life is free. To give something, something must be taken.

Imo that door swings both ways, positive and negative. Intent is a powerful thing, add more ppl, more powerful. Example: Prayer...Groups praying for a person. Haven't witnessed any of the negative, yet heard stories :/
