Pretty common fundraiser among police and fire departments where such historical events occurred. Salem, Mass police had patches with witches, Kecksburg fire dept sold patches with a UFO on it. Comsidering it only costs about $3-$5 (depending on economies of scale) to make patches, they make a good return on the investment.
