Comic Books

its just a collection of notes and scribblings i put into story form many years ago..... not the greatest piece of writing, but since it re-appeared in my files i just cant bring myself to delete it again, so sometimes i use it for stuff like this. to turn it into different forms, story, graphic novel, illustrated, etc.... just a general experimental use..... this time i was just adding some characters and images to the story, ( faces for the names kinda thing).... not in panels, just images, so went with a realistic approach instead of an illustrated look.... turned out OK i suppose...even though the writing isnt all that......lol
Did you cut and paste a scene into an AI and ask for an image? Because thats actually a pretty cool idea.

i have a couple of programs that lets you build characters, (make human, used to be great. ( havent used it in a while). but others similar are good too, blender etc....).... even make animations or full movies. its very time consuming because every little detail has to be input, but is great for making graphic novels or short stories. you design the characters from scratch and then build the background scenes. then open up a writing program, if its going to be a graphic novel you arrange the "panels" and page layout how you want it and then copy and paste the images into the panels...... (short but easy description, ...lol).....the standard A.I can and will do a great job on the same type work, but is severely limited on how far it will go on character development. body proportions and such, as well as mode of dress and some more "romantic" type scenes, but is a good tool for what you can get from it, which is actually quite a bit, just can be aggravating at times, though i do use the new AI from time to time. it can be good for simple yet good scenes, or for fast basic character making. background scenes etc......
give it a try, i have seen you mention some of your writings before, play with generating images and bringing something to lfe... its fun and a great way to just play and waste a few hours....lol.... just use one of the AI programs and see what you can do with it.

not sure how letting AI design / build the complete scene would work. i always write the story out first and then build / design the characters and scenes all separately to how i see or want them.

I understand. We all those things that are near and dear to our hearts that maybe others wouldn’t get. It is a treasure to you and that’s all that matters.
but here is another one im working on that i may actually make a series of, and place them for sale.... graphic novel form but semi realism design..... heres a few of the main characters and settings... still a work in progress but is my own brand so can show a little bit....lol........

I have used Blender before but could never get the hang of it. Tried following a video tutorial once, it somehow made things worse. The video created a line and I created a line, it curved the line to make a sphere and I curved the line to make a sphere. It set the number and spacing for vertices the clicked and dragged the sphere into a donut, I did exactly the same steps and ended up with a giant mutant amoeba.

I just tried an AI experiment. I uploaded an EPUB document of a short story and asked the AI to review it and give me ideas for cover art. After a bit of back and forth I got this:

Not quite what I wanted, the wall and gate in the story are only waist high, but I can use this as inspiration for creating my own. Overall not too terrible an experience.

yeah, thats why i always build each character and scene seperately when playing with standard AI.... you can tell it to design what you want and what style, realism, comic, illustrated, etc..... its good for some things. not so much for others, though it is relatively new and im sure will get better as time goes and more people use it for these purposes... its also good and fast to build a base character on then transfer that character over to another program and add to or enhance what A.I cant do or wont do....lol......good job though. keep playing with it and share some of what you do....looks good.

Nice. I can see elements in these images that hint at a larger story behind them
its actually three parts so far. the third storyline isnt quite finished, but its at a point i can go ahead and start creating the images for the first two parts........ maybe....lol.......... i can just never decide on this one if i want to go with graphic novel or animated storyline for one of the platforms like youtube or something..... then theres the whole gotta be committed to a channel continuation and im just not there yet....lol........so graphic novel will be it.... i can always do the three, end it and walk away....lol

I had one story that I always envisioned as a film, but the time and budget for that is way more than just the written words. Though I have found that I can employ some "camera tricks" and scene transitions with the right descriptions.

I have lots of story ideas but I don't know how many of them will actually be any good once out of my head and written out. I may, if there's enough material, try an anthology book and see about publishing.

cool..... being very descriptive is a must when building characters, backgrounds, etc... with any of the programs... even with A.I it can be a pain sometimes. every inch of the prompts must be put in ... time of day, background, camera angle, weather, anything you can think of and add will enhance the finished image.... while AI is faster it still can be tedious and time consuming..... a program for characters is better in that it can save the characters for future use and you get a somewhat cohesiveness from image to image......
write some of your ideas out and see where you can take them. the first set of characters i posted here are for a story i wrote 30 years ago... well, it was just a bunch of scribblings and notes until i put them in story form a couple of years later.....and then it wasnt really good....lol....but i now use that one to play with for stuff like this....(plus, it does have a little meaning to me)...but go for it, its fun, and with todays tech you would be surprised what you can actually do.
