What ticks me off is that people sent this man letters to try and "explain away" his experience!

As with anything, let 'those' people think whatever they want. They can rationalize it all they want. Something lies beyond this 'real' life. I can't say what that will be. We may see glimpses of it, but is it truly what each individual person experiences? Again, who knows? I never thought every afterlife was catered the same. The 'waiting room' might be similar, but what happens beyond is anyone's guess.

Sigh. I agree, Selectric. Why can't people just walk their own path and stop trying to manage the spiritual experiences of another? That was an awesome experience he had and people just want to explain it away.

I think if he would have had a real after death experience, he would be convinced of it and not accept what people said. So I wonder if he was just sad that people didn't believe him or if it really didn't happen. I was looking for more of a description in the article, it was super short.
