I was really the only one who dealt with Eric. As I mentioned earlier, we went and ate Phillies every time he was in town. The only people who may have met him may have been Daniel. Daniels long gone and lives in LA now. I never said aloud anything about Eric.
In fact….I totally forgot his name till I saw his face pop up on Facebook last week. I should try and contact him now maybe…

Well, I've heard of people walking around a store and stopping to look at some product and at that moment an ad for that exact thing appears on their phone.

Cell phones do make one's location "known" to the system and who knows who has access to that data and the data can be linked to internet browsing data that is constantly being collected on all of us.

I had been talking with my hubs on something that neither of us had googled or even talked about before. Within minutes I had ads for the exact thing we had spoken about on my Facebook feed. Something was listening in because it was just an odd thing we spoke about briefly, never talked about before, and suddenly BAM. There it was. I'm thinking it was our TV. I had disabled every other Alexis device I had. Not that it obeys the disable order!

What do you plan to do to avoid further incidents like that happening? Do you plan to get rid of your TV? Let me know so I can also plan my moves in the future. :)

Nope. Got a new TV when I moved, but I truly think this is so invasive that there is no hiding from it. Now that AI is out there, there is nothing that can stop it. Welcome to the new world.
