Those were the "newer" version! lol And I think not as good as the old balsa wood ones. My boys "flew" enough of those planes to form their own squadron.Balsa wood?!? In the 80s mine was made of polystyrene!

I had to look that up. We call them popsicle sticks in the US! lolAs a kid we used to color in ice block sticks and race them down the road side gutter when it rained. It was serious stuff for bragging rights.
BOXES! We used to beg our parents to go to the local appliance store and get us refrigerator and stove boxes! lol Dryers and washer boxes, too. When my boys were driving me nuts I would pick up a few boxes and just throw them into the den. Kids are a bit like cats....give them a box and they're happy.played with the box it came in for hours
Thanks! Lolly sticks in the UK. Ice block stick does seem pretty obvious in retrospect.I had to look that up. We call them popsicle sticks in the US! lol
Oh yea this made me think of paper dolls. I had many when growing up. There was the stand up cardboard doll and the paper clothes. So much fun dressing them.Fuzzy felt! I used to play with that for HOURS. Also just paper, glue and glitter...
Thanks! I can't believe I'd forgotten Fuzzy Felt. And finding the really little bits scrunched up on the carpet all the time.Fuzzy felt! I used to play with that for HOURS. Also just paper, glue and glitter...
