Unexpected discovery of mysterious drawings could change the way scientists look at cave art

Massive Native American drawings, unseen in an Alabama cave for more than 1,000 years, have been revealed thanks to 3D imaging. It's the largest known cave art ever discovered in North America.

The one drawing looks like a combination of many animals. It's a shame though they have to keep site secret due to vandals. Why do people find it necessary to wreck historical sites? Boggles my mind.
