It all kicked off just before 5pm yesterday. Our eldest (18) and myself were the only ones in the house, husband was at work and the younger two (12 and 15) had gone the cinema with g/dad (85) and all was quiet, we were both on our computers while we had the chance. I asked Shad to make me a coffee, within a minute or so I heard the kitchen cupboard go downstairs and called Shad thinking he had gone down without my cup, only for him to reply from the room next to mine. I giggled as weird things happen every so often and joked he would have to go and find out who's messing in the kitchen. We both went downstairs together, the kitchen light was on and all the kitchen cupboards were open. We joked a bit about it, closed them all, made a coffee and went back upstairs and started watching funny vids online to calm the mood. Not 20 minutes later we heard a noise downstairs and both went to investigate, once again the light was on but the kitchen door was ajar and I know I'd closed it myself, we proceeded into the kitchen and a few of the cupboards were open and again we closed them, switched the light off and closed the kitchen door. I told Shad to go up and get his go pro and we can set it up in the kitchen, I stood in the hallway watching the kitchen door, when Shad came back down we opened the kitchen door to find the light was again on. We attempted to set up the go pro but it flashed red and went off.
This happened 4-5 times with the cupboard doors and then with the draws. G/dad and the younger two returned home from the cinema and later on in the evening a wooden back rest, which my hubs made for me after my leg op, was moved around the kitchen floor, at one point ended up unevenly balanced on the cooker top , while every door and draw were open and then it ended up on the other side of the room with a pink football sitting on top of it. At one point, early hours of the morning, I brought the football upstairs to the bedroom after it flew across the kitchen and it was behind me in Shads room while we were all talking, we heard a noise, went downstairs and when we came back up the ball had moved and was next to my sleeping husband., in another room. It all went quiet just after 4am. It's always been a little more active at the beginning of Nov, but never this active. Saying it was an eventful night would be an understatement.
Our 15 year old ended up in tears as she was so scared and I ended up having to sort a protection spell to put them at ease. What a night. Wondering if it is going to continue today. If so, I'll keep you guys updated.

Glad we got you back in the door today, Teeny. Refresh my memory....what have you tried so far to settle this down?

First thing on the menu today is say the St. Michael's prayer for some protection on your place.

Next question....are any of the children female? This almost sounds poltergeist in nature, which can be triggered by pubescent girls. Sometimes males can also trigger it, but girls seem to have it happen more often. Can't say that is what it is, but it is something to consider.

I've only done a basic protection, going to get the sage out if it continues. A shelf collapsed on me before and glass cut my toe through the slipper, hoping it's more of an unlucky coincidence. No born females, our daughter is transgender and has puberty blockers and doesn't begin hormone injections for a few months. I have had things similar happen all my life, starting from 2 1/2 when I nearly hung after a cord became wrapped round my neck, remember it like it was yesterday. I used to get locked in a bathroom and someone one knock, they'd knock on my bedroom door an I'd hear them running up and down the stairs outside my room. This is more for the fact it has actually affected our children now. Not a fan.

My thought was to go to the kitchen, open all the cabinet doors, leave the light on and door open, and leave to see what the reaction would be. It's not a new thought to me, though. I wrote an article with this type of phenomenon as a premise way back in the day. As Debi mentioned, could be poltergeist activity, but if it wasn't, it would be an interesting investigation into motivation.

I would make a plan with other family members far away at a park or something where it was agreed that there should be regular conversations at the house about how the most unsettling thing of all would be to come in the kitchen & find the dishes done & the floor mopped. Maybe one particularly sensitive family member could burst into tears & start shaking at the prospect of eerily finding the oven cleaned as well?...lol

Wow you have a lot going on. From your discription I gather the activity follows you and not the location ? Perhaps someone in your family has repressed psysic abilities. I’ve heard stress and this situation can create poltergeist activity. If so counseling on channeling this persons emotions in a positive way could defuse the situation. If it’s ghost activity , it sounds like you already know how to handle that

That's the conclusion I'm now coming to, just never really shared it, just to my mum. With it all going on and having others witness it kind of validated what I've been dealing with. Love the hubs to bits, but he just shrugs everything off and even if he can't come up with a rational explanation will just go, what can you do. Has been quite frustrating over the years.
